Dale and Klein was formed on May 1, 1989. Roy S. Dale has been a
licensed attorney for over thirty-seven (37) years and relocated to
Brownsville, Texas from Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1978. He received his law
degree from Indiana University in 1961. He practiced in various law firms
before merging Roy S. Dale, P.C. with Katie Pearson Klein, P.C. to form
Dale & Klein. Katie Pearson Klein graduated from Baylor University
School of Law in 1978 and was associated with two (2) McAllen law firms
and the District Attorney's Office of Hidalgo County, Texas, and served as
City Attorney of the City of Pharr, Texas before becoming a solo
practitioner in September of 1981. The law firm is involved primarily in
civil litigation. Ms. Klein is board certified in family law and also in
civil trial law. The practice is comprised seventy-five percent of
insurance and employment defense litigation, ten percent (10%) personal
injury cases, ten percent family law, business litigation and professional
negligence defense and another five percent (5%) in general practice.
