Dale & Klein, L.L.P. was formed on May 1, 1989. Roy S. Dale has been a licensed attorney
for over thirty-seven (37) years and relocated to Brownsville, Texas from Fort Wayne,
Indiana in 1978. He received his law degree from Indiana University in 1961. He practiced
in various law firms before merging Roy S. Dale, P.C. with Katie Pearson Klein, P.C.
to form Dale & Klein. Katie Pearson Klein graduated from Baylor University School
of Law in 1978 and was associated with two (2) McAllen law firms and the District
Attorney's Office of Hidalgo County, Texas, and served as City Attorney of the City
of Pharr, Texas before becoming a solo practitioner in September of 1981. The law
firm is involved primarily in civil litigation. Ms. Klein is board certified in family
law and also in civil trial law. The firm is engaged in civil trial law and family
law. Civil trial law, including representation of plaintiffs and defendants, comprises
approximately 60% of the practice with family law comprising approximately 40% of
the practice.
